How does the AI Companion work?
The SoberStreak Companion understands your recovery — your addiction type, your streak, and what you're working through, when you choose to share it. It talks with you like someone who's been there, not a script. It's also crisis-aware: if a conversation suggests you may be in danger, it surfaces real support. Judgement-free, and there whenever you need it, 24/7.
Is the app free?
Yes. The core is free — streak tracking, private journaling, milestones, and tracking multiple recoveries. Your AI Companion and insights are in the app too, with community on the way.
How do I reset my streak?
You can reset your streak in settings. But your journey doesn't start over — we track your lifetime clean days alongside your current streak. Slips happen. No shame. Start again.
What addictions does the app support?
All of them. Alcohol, drugs, gambling, porn, nicotine, sugar, gaming — anything you're working to get free from.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard security. We never sell, share, or use your information for anything other than helping you. Your recovery is private. You can also optionally back up and sync via a secure cloud account.
What devices is the app compatible with?
SoberStreak AI is available on iPhone (iOS) and in any web browser at soberstreak.ai/app — sign in and everything stays in sync. Android is coming soon.
What happens if I lose internet connection?
Your streak and journal entries are saved on your device. If you've enabled cloud sync, everything syncs automatically when you're back online.
Can I export my journal entries?
Yes. You can export your journal as a PDF for your own records or to share with a therapist or counsellor.
Can I use the app anonymously?
Yes. You don't need to use your real name. Create an account with just an email and a username.
